Closed: Membership Survey to Determine 2023 Legislative Priorities

The mission of the Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce is to “Advocate, collaborate, and create an environment in which business can grow and succeed.”

To deliver on the mission of the Greater Williamsburg Chamber, the Legislative Affairs Committee is preparing for the 2023 Virginia General Assembly session. In preparation, the Committee is seeking input from members to accurately depict the needs of the Greater Williamsburg business community. Please take a few minutes to take this quick survey so that you can register your thoughts with those of your co-members to determine the top legislative priorities for the next General Assembly session.

The following survey should take no longer than seven (7) minutes. Upon the closing date of the survey, Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at 5 PM, the results will be compiled to determine the top 3-5 priorities of GWCC membership for the 2023 Legislative Agenda. The legislative agenda will be sent to all GWCC members, and our lobbyists and participating GWCC members will use them to advise the Greater Williamsburg Delegation of the business community’s priorities. Contact Amanda Terrell if you have any questions.

Note: We have removed two items from the survey ranking as, categorically, the Greater Williamsburg Chamber considers maintaining a pro-business environment and the state’s right-to-work status to be the overarching theme to a successful economy in Virginia. Those sentiments will be highlighted as our enduring priorities.
