RECOGNITIONS

Health Promoter of the Year — Nominations Closed

The Health Promoter Award is an annual award which acknowledges that health is not merely about individual choices but also about having access to and the opportunity to make healthy choices. The award was designed to honor and recognize either an individual, organization, or a business that goes above and beyond to create those opportunities for other members of the community and/or their employees.

The Chamber Health Committee continues to thank and recognize past award recipients for their promotion of health in our community:

The community is invited to nominate individuals, organizations, or businesses that are members of the Greater Williamsburg Chamber and who are intentional in providing opportunities to their employees to address their physical and mental health needs within their work environment. Members of the health care profession can be nominated but will be judged on what is provided beyond the scope of their health-related services.

They’re your neighbors, friends, and co-workers, and they’re making Greater Williamsburg a better place every day. The 15 Under 50 Award was created to honor up-and-coming business and civic leaders in Greater Williamsburg who are thriving in their respective industries and impacting the community at large. To celebrate the top 15 local leaders under the age of 50, nominations are collected from the community and the final award recipients are recognized at an awards reception.
