RECOGNITIONS
Health Promoter of the Year — Nominations Closed
The Health Promoter Award is an annual award which acknowledges that health is not merely about individual choices but also about having access to and the opportunity to make healthy choices. The award was designed to honor and recognize either an individual, organization, or a business that goes above and beyond to create those opportunities for other members of the community and/or their employees.
The Chamber Health Committee continues to thank and recognize past award recipients for their promotion of health in our community:
2023: James City County
2022: James City County
2021: Matchsticks BBQ Co.
2019: Williamsburg Landing
2018: Ironbound Gym
2017: Henderson, Inc.
The community is invited to nominate individuals, organizations, or businesses that are members of the Greater Williamsburg Chamber and who are intentional in providing opportunities to their employees to address their physical and mental health needs within their work environment. Members of the health care profession can be nominated but will be judged on what is provided beyond the scope of their health-related services.
