Lauren Moore

Vice President of Communications & Programming

Lauren is a Williamsburg native with a background in the Hospitality Industry. Her passion for community, travel and tourism drives her approach to event development. She brings a hyper local perspective to the Chamber after working 10 years in downtown Williamsburg for the Everett Group of Restaurants. She has had a role in the opening of new restaurants and new retail space, and in the growth of a diverse portfolio of events.

What’s the best part about working at the Chamber?
“I love that no two days are the same. I have the opportunity to build relationships with members and create programming that will benefit their business and our community.”

What was your first job?
“Busch Gardens, of course! Growing up, it felt like all of my friends’ first jobs were at the park. I worked in England at the Emporium and am so grateful to have had such a fun first work environment.”

I love Williamsburg because…
“…of its growth while still having a hometown feel. There are times when I walk through downtown in the evening and can’t help but feel like I’m walking through a painting.”
