  • Virginia Living Museum — Under the guidelines of the Commonwealth of Virginia, we are happy to announce that the animal attraction is open daily from 9 AM to 5 PM. Tiny Titans dinosaur eggs and babies exhibit extended open September 7, 2020. GYMS AND FITNESS CENTERS

  • GYMGUYZ Williamsburg — We are operating both in-person and virtually 5 AM to 9 PM every day of the week.For in-person local sessions, we are following all CDC and Virginia guidelines for COVID-19. We are wearing masks, gloves and disinfecting our equipment at both the beginning and end of the session as well as keeping at least a 10-foot distance during the session. We also are daily monitoring the health of our trainers as well as confirming with clients they are healthy before we meet each session. Your first workout session is on us!   • Pure Barre Williamsburg, VA — We are operating at 30% capacity to maintain at least 10 feet between all clients, staff, and instructors. Doors open 15 minutes prior to the start of class. We are adhering to all CDC, state, and local guidelines to ensure our studio is a safe environment for all staff and clients. Masks are required for entry and exit, although masks are not required for the duration of the exercise class. All classes are capped at eight people, normally our capacity is 25. This is to ensure at least 10 feet is kept between all clients and staff. Each client has their own station, which includes a personal hand sanitizer and disinfecting cleaning products. The class is designed for the client to stay at their station, where movement is limited and the use of equipment is minimal. All equipment is sanitized by an EDA-approved product. We double-clean the floor, the barre, and all equipment after every class. We have also installed anti-microbial tape on all commonly touched surfaces in our studio to add an extra layer of protection. An air purifier is also used between every class.   • Whitley’s Peanut Factory — Open 9:30 AM to 6 PM daily. Masks required to enter store. Please maintain six feet between staff and other shoppers. Staff wear masks and gloves. We wipe down frequently used surfaces (counter, door handles & credit card machine) after each customer. This is important this year, because there is a wide range of efforts being put forth by the different campgrounds to help protect their guests. Being safe and smart never takes away from the fun. Our guests have never been happier at Anvil in our 66 year history! Here is what Anvil is doing for you Our campsites, picnic tables, and utility hookups are sanitized between guests. This means you are first to touch your site since we sanitized it just for you. Our check-in is contactless. You will not have to get out of your RV upon arriving. We have everything set and ready for you. Our pool is open! Two families at a time separated at all times by 10 feet or more; ensured by pool rope marking space for each family. Clear signage at our pool outlines the guidelines for safety. We sanitize all ladders and entrances between families. Currently it is bring your pool chairs. To enter the pool area, guests need to pass a verbal COVID-19 screening from our Guest Services and wash their hands with the provided antibacterial soap. The two families never cross paths, because we have two separate entrances for the two divided sections of the pool. Our three different playground areas are open and we sanitized them regularly. To enter, our guests must sanitize their hands with the provided hand sanitizer and do a self COVID-19 screening. Clear signage at our playgrounds outlines the guidelines for safety. Our new clubhouse is open. All of the entertainment is free and is sanitized between guests. It is divided into two separate sections with two separate entrances; ensuring different families will not cross paths. Each section is for one family at a time. Families will be a minimum of 10 feet apart at all times. To enter, guests must pass a verbal COVID-19 screening from our Guest Services and use the provided hand sanitizer. Clear signage at our clubhouse outlines the guidelines for safety. Free Clubhouse entertainment includes: pool table, shuffleboard, three foosball tables, Pop-A-Shot New Official Home Dual Shot Basketball Arcade Game, ping pong, Sega Genesis Classic, Playstation Classic, Midway Classic Arcade Machine, kid area, four TVs, and music. There is a Virginia mandate requiring masks inside all buildings in the state and all businesses in Virginia are suppose to be strongly encouraging masks outside. Our guests are doing well with both; wearing a mask inside our buildings and when walking near others guests. If you are a first time or novice RVer, we got your back. We can take the stress out of getting parked and setting up. Every day we help guests park their campers. We can help with leveling if needed and hooking up your utilities to our first-class utility pedestals. We will not leave your side, until you are all set! Our weekends are loaded with free entertainment, free live music, free food, free snow cones or free ice cream, and free children's activities.   • Best Western Historic Area Inn — Open with safety precautions in place. Guests with reservations will be pre-registered with sanitized keys available for pick up. Guests can enjoy touchless payment simply by inserting a credit card into our chip reader. Sanitization station is available after signing registration forms behind our plastic shields. All staff members are tested daily for wellness and anyone feeling unwell or with a fever is sent home. All staff will use appropriate protective equipment to perform their duties. Sanitation stations are available at the front desk and throughout the property including at every elevator lobby. Every guest room is sanitized in preparation for arrival including AC filter, bedding (including washing pillows etc.), remote control, telephone, light switches, and doorknobs. A UV Sanitizing wand is utilized as appropriate. Our breakfast buffet has been converted to a “Grab and Go” breakfast for guests to enjoy in their room or in our dining room with social distancing. A menu with selections including individually packaged breakfast sandwiches, cereal etc. will be provided the night before and guests will have the opportunity for contactless pick-up of their items in the morning.   • Fife and Drum Inn — We are open for business! We are open for business! We are continuously reviewing and updating our operations to provide a safe, comfortable, and relaxing environment here at the Fife & Drum Inn. The following are just some of the steps that we have taken to adapt our practices to meet CDC guidelines for the COVID-19 virus. We are checking temperatures for staff (and ourselves) twice a day. Responding swiftly and reporting to local health officials any presumed cases of COVID-19 at the hotel property shall be a staff-wide requirement. Any staff member that may be exhibiting signs of illness will stay home to recover. There will be sanitizing stations at the base of the main stair, the top of the stairs, and between the Common Room and Coffee Bar. Room keys will be sanitized, and staff will have washed/sanitized hands before handing room keys to our guests. Hands will be sanitized prior to handling guest credit cards. Staff will sanitize immediately after handling any guest property. In many cases we may be able to offer guest a room that has not had a guest for at least 24 hours. For the immediate future, our buffet breakfast will be replaced by self-serve continental items. The items available will include fresh baked muffin tops, yogurt, granola, oatmeal, milk, orange juice, tea, and coffee. This service will be available from 8:00 – 9:30 PM. For those that prefer a full breakfast menu we recommend The Blue Talon or Aromas. Both are located a few steps from our front door. We will be using wrapped sterilized flatware, paper place mats and napkins. Our famous chocolate chip cookies will be individually wrapped! We continue to disinfect guest rooms and bathrooms, to include light switches, doorknobs, TV remotes, clocks, and all hard surfaces. This also applies to Inn common areas where we are frequently cleaning and disinfecting all hard surfaces, handrails, doorknobs, and light switches, table, and chair surfaces. We have temporarily removed decorative pillows, duvets, and shams from the beds. Beds will be triple sheeted, with a removable washed covering. Cleaning products and protocols shall include EPA-approved disinfectants that meet CDC requirements for use and effectiveness against viruses, bacteria, and other airborne pathogens. Fresh towels will be available when requested. Housekeeping shall not enter a guest room during a stay unless specifically requested. Linens, towels, and laundry shall be washed in accordance with CDC guidelines There will be sanitizer at the coffee bar, and we request all guests use the sanitizer prior to self-serving coffee. Hotel industry health and safety protocols will be updated in accordance with CDC guidelines as we learn more about COVID-19 and ways to combat it operationally for the safety of guests and employees.
